Many of our digital collections now on JSTOR

We have begun sharing many of our digital collections in a new way!

JSTOR, the service that is known for providing access to scholarly journals, recently launched a platform to host digital special collections. We are excited to be a charter member of this service, JSTOR Open Community Collections.

The majority of the publications and manuscript collections that you can find in Goldmine are available through this site, which is completely free and open access. These collections relate to topics including Charlotte city planning and redevelopment, civil rights, and Black history. Two of our photograph collections can also be found here.

The idea behind this service is that scholars can discover primary sources alongside all of the scholarly literature they use on JSTOR.

Have fun exploring our collections on this new platform!
