
Isabel Braico is the Student Wellness Fellow at Atkins Library. She will be working to create a comprehensive plan for the library to implement wellness training initiatives and make health and wellness products like naloxone and menstrual products available through the library in collaboration with community partners.
Isabel holds a BA in English from Illinois State University. She is currently an MSLIS student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where her coursework emphasizes instruction and outreach. She is a graduate assistant at the Main Library, where she teaches course-integrated library instruction sessions and contributes to various student success initiatives. In the Fall, she will also be working as a student researcher assessing digital navigation and literacy services at Illinois public libraries. Isabel has previous work experience in public and academic libraries and looks forward to a career leveraging library resources and services to support community outreach and engagement.
