We provide many ways to find what you need!
Request an Item to Pick-Up
Request an item from the catalog, then pick it up when you’re ready! We’ll retrieve the item from the collection and hold it for you at the Information and Research Desk.
Once the item is ready, you will receive an email letting you know it can be picked up. Holds are kept at the desk for 10 days before expiring and being returned to the shelves.
Request books and periodicals, including journals and magazines, from our offsite storage facility. We’ll bring them over to Atkins Library for you. Request from offsite storage.
Get an item from the library delivered directly to you! A service for faculty, staff, and distance education students. Request an Item Delivery.
If we don’t have something you’re looking for, Interlibrary Loan (ILL) can try to get it for you. Students, faculty, and staff of UNC Charlotte can use ILL to borrow almost anything from other libraries for free. Request an Interlibrary Loan.
