The Halton Room in J. Murrey Atkins Library is intended for use by Academic Affairs and the Chancellor. Other faculty and staff organizations may reserve the room for one-time (rather than standing) events, receptions, or conferences. A faculty or staff organization may hold one meeting per academic year in the room. Community groups may hold an event in the room if it is sponsored by a UNC Charlotte faculty or staff member who coordinates catering, set-up, and other aspects of the event. Students and student groups may not reserve the room. Visit Conferences, Reservations, and Events Services (CRES) to make reservations for events on-campus.
The Halton Room has a seating capacity of 80 in various layouts and supports hybrid meetings using Zoom. All requests are reviewed and approved by Library Administration. Submit your request via the Halton Room Reservation Request form.

- Monday - Friday - 7:15 a.m. - 8 p.m.*
- Saturday & Sunday - Closed
