  • 7/27/22: Because there has been inconsistent record keeping about Area 49 Desk questions via LibInsights in recent years, the numbers reported under "General Question or Room Assistance" for 2021-2022 and henceforth are calculated based on a calculation that represents 11.15% of the total walk-up questions posed at the Information and Research Desk questions during a given month. This % calculation was determined with baseline data gathering at the Area 49 Desk (Walk-up Questions + Room Assistance) at different points in time during AY 2021-2022 and calculating the average percent difference from the number of walk-up questions at the Information & Research Desk. On occasion where an Area 49 worker recorded a question via LibInsights, these entries are deducted from the 11.15% total calculations during the corresponding month.
