Atkins Library is partnering with the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) on another Open Access webinar, "Licensing and Funding for Open Access Publishing," January 15, 12-1pm.
Liz Siler, Collection Development Librarian and Interim Associate Dean of Collection Services, and Kate Dickson, Copyright and Licensing Librarian will talk about using and creating openly licensed resources in publishing and teaching, including finding and sharing Creative Commons-licensed materials. We will also discuss interpreting and negotiating author agreements to make publications as open as possible, and using grants to fund the costs associated with publishing openly.
