Resource Spotlight: UNC Charlotte’s institutional repository, Niner Commons

Open Access Week 2023 October 23-29

Niner Commons is an open access repository of scholarly works by UNC Charlotte faculty, students, and staff. You can contribute your research and scholarship into Niner Commons, including journal articles, conference posters, working papers, technical reports, book chapters, and more.

The main benefits of posting your works to Niner Commons are discovery, since all works are indexed by Google Scholar, and access, since each work is assigned a permalink and is preserved for the long term—meaning that in the years to come, even if you are no longer at UNC Charlotte, you can still find your work at the same link. This can be a helpful way to reliably share your work with others, either by updating your CV or ORCID with these permalinks.
